As a coastal marine ecologist, I apply my background education in freshwater ecosystems to current graduate training in marine ecology. Using a mixture of laboratory experiments, field studies, and data-synthesis techniques, I seek to understand ecologically-relevant interactions among species, and between species and the abiotic environment. I work to further our understanding of how future ocean conditions may change these interactions broadly, and what this may mean for coastal communities.
